Dear friend of Mount Olivet Camp:
We were blessed again to participate in and continue the vision that began some ninety years ago.
Many good things happened at the camp this year. The singing and the preaching that we heard was uplifting and there seemed to be great unity among the people.
We all noticed how hard the cooks (and all you who helped them) worked to prepare two meals each day. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU.
Mrs. Garten finishing her twentieth year in the store and as registrar for the camp. Mrs. Garten is in her nineties! THANK YOU MRS. GARTEN--WE HOPE AND PRAY TO SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!
The youth were outstanding in sharing their gifts and talents on youth night (Thursday) and also throughout the entire camp. THANK YOU YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN--it lifted our spirits.
And THANK YOU YOUTH LEADERS, who God has raised up to “stand in the gap” for the next generation of “Campers.” God bless you!
What would our services have been without the help of all who played the music--THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR GOD- GIVEN TALENT WITH US.
Everyone did a great job. I hope that in writing this I don't leave anyone out. While God has called me to lead the camp, that doesn’t mean that I can do all that is needed alone. I am asking you to stand with me and Martha; we need your prayer and support.
We are looking forward to working with and for you next year so make this camp a part of your next year’s plans. If you would like to write me about your desires for the camp please, my address is below. Also write if you would like a schedule for next year’s camp. Next year’s camp will be held July 21-29, 2006.
