Stephen Radcliff b. Unk. d. Jackson, Ohio 1817?
The father of Stephen Radcliff is probably Daniel Stephen Radcliff b. c1714
probably in Philadelphia or Maryland. He moved to Hampshire County, VA
(now WV)
and was the father of seven sons and at least two children. His children
were Methodist
Episcopal but Daniel was probably Quaker and probably the son of either James
Radcliff who emigrated 1682 or his brother Richard Ratcliff (sic) who
emigrated from
Lancashire also but to Chapel Hill, Maryland. They were badly persecuted
for their
religion.

pedigree
