1. Benjamin Ratcliff sold land in Johnston Co., N. C., 1754, to his uncle

Robert Fellows, Deed Book 3, page 87.

2. Benjamin Ratcliff sold land in Johnston Co., N. C., to Thomas Price,

1754, Deed Book 3, page 153.

3. Johnston County (N. C.) Court Minutes, 1759-1766 record the following:

a. Benjamin Ratcliff ordered to serve as Constable and Overseer of the

highway along north side of Neuse River from Polecat Swamp to the

Old Mill Branch, page 3.

b. Benjamin Ratcliff, a Quaker, appointed executor of James Farmer's

will, page 51.

c. Benjamin Ratcliff, executor, delivered an inventory of the estate

of John Farmer, deceased, page 87.

d. Benjamin Ratcliff having various dealings with the estate of James

Farmer, deceased, and his widow, Mary Farmer. pp. 56, 70, 109, etc

e. Benjamin Ratcliff, for misbehavior, his guardianship of Nicholas

Farmer, orphan of James Farmer, deceased, be removed, page 214.
