The game was released for PC in February 2016, and for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Android in 2018. Shortly after, the game was ported to other platforms such as Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and iOS. The game is a single player simulation game in which the player takes the role of a farmer in Stardew Valley. The player is given the task of managing their farm, earning money, and interacting with the townsfolk of the valley. The player can explore the valley and complete quests to earn rewards.

Gameplay
