Stardew Valley is an indie game developed by ConcernedApe, and published by Chucklefish. The game was released for PC in February 2016, and for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Android in 2018. Shortly after, the game was ported to other platforms such as Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and iOS. The game is a single player simulation game in which the player takes the role of a farmer in Stardew Valley. The player is given the task of managing their farm, earning money, and interacting with the townsfolk of the valley. The player can explore the valley and complete quests to earn rewards.

Gameplay

Stardew Valley is a farming simulator in a similar vein to the Nintendo series Harvest Moon, but with a twist: it is a single-player open world where you are free to explore, take up quests, and play as you want. The game has a very large variety of things to do, and gives you the choice to spend your time however you like. One of the ways to win the game is by building a successful farm, with crops and livestock, while earning brownie points with the locals.
