Children's religious and spiritual development have been an area of interest and study since the 1970's. This is an area in which I have written books and a number of journal articles (see writing).

I serve on a planning team for a conference on children's spirituality which was held in 2003, 2006, and is scheduled for June, 2009. There are also summaries of many books related to the research in this area, which is an ongoing and regularly expanding project. In addition, parents and ministry leaders/teachers may want to look over a wide variety of materials available at my childfaith site.
