Ludo 2017 review
Do you like board games? Of course, it’s hard to find a person who doesn’t. Board games come from childhood when there were no smartphones and computers yet, and game consoles were very rare and contained only primitive tennis games. Today we’re going to talk about the rules of the classic Ludo game that became digitalized.
Ludo is a very popular and interesting board game that can be played by two to four people at a time. Back in the days, the game has gained its popularity due to the simplicity of the rules and an engaging plot. When you launch Ludo 2020, you get a playing field, a dice with numbers from 1 to 6, and sixteen game pieces in four colors. Once the game starts, each of the participants gets four chips of the same color. The players have to roll the dice and then make a move. Depending on what the dice shows and the combination of chips on the field, the player can do one of the following things:
If the dice shows the number six and the starting cell (the cells that are marked with the letters ‘b’) is not occupied by another chip of this color, then the player can put one of his chips on the starting cell;
If any number from one to six has fallen on the dice and there are already chips on the field, then the player can make a move on any of them. In this case, you can only go to an empty square or a square occupied by an opponent’s chip, in which case the opponent’s chip is removed from the playing track and put back on the base;
Chips move clockwise. After each chip has made a move, it must be brought into the house (indicated in the diagram by the letter ‘c’). The winner is the first to bring all his chips into the house.
The Ludo 2020 game uses the touchscreen system. It means that all you have to do is to swipe and scroll. This is a rather suitable scheme because it imitates the real-life experience of the original game.
Replay Value 5/5
Ludo 2020 can be a new family gathering or party essential. If you don’t have the original board Ludo game, this one will come in handy as a digital substitute. It has interesting gameplay and works smoothly on any device you use it. To make sure the game will work without glitches, check the system requirements before downloading.
The game graphics look good. Bright colors and smooth details make it look pleasing for your eye. When it comes to animations, everything works seamless, so you won’t experience any game errors. As an adaptation of a board game, Ludo 2020 looks like the original one a lot.
The gameplay of Ludo 2020 is followed by a delightful sound that doesn’t distract you from the game itself. If you are more likely to play your favorite songs on the background, you can just mute the game tunes in the Settings.
